180 days before you ever step foot on Walt Disney World property, you are going to have to make some pretty big decisions. Most of these are about where you will eat and at what time during your trip that is scheduled 6 months into the future. At this 180 day mark most of your restaurant options will have availability at some point during your trip, though the most popular venues may not have any availability at all if you are on a shorter trip especially.
But, what happens when you book a last minute trip or you book during a busier time and your first choices are not available? We have a great list of restaurants that will usually have openings and are surprisingly awesome!
Grand Floridian Cafe– Located at the Grand Floridian this restaurant has walk up availability for three meals a day. Seriously the best shrimp and grits I have had. The venue and menu are perfect and since it is a quick monorail or boat ride from Magic Kingdom this can be a great way to get out of the parks for a little while.
Geyser Point– This open air restaurant is located on the shores of Bay Lake at Wilderness Lodge. You can do quick service or sit down and enjoy a hearty and unique menu. You can time this right for your evening meal and get a good view of the fireworks along with the soundtrack!

Amazing Steak Salad at Geyser Point
Ale and Compass– Serving three meals a day at the Yacht Club, this is a fabulous place to grab a quick bite. If you are on the dining plan you cannot beat their lobster boil for 1 meal credit! Also, the Parker House rolls are a reason alone to visit!

Nomad Lounge– This lounge is amazing. You can go here for a quick bite and a drink and leave feeling totally full. The lounge is located right before the entrance to Pandora in Animal Kingdom. I am a huge fan of their Charcuterie board, their cheese board, and the bread service!
Olivia’s Cafe– Old Key West is where to head for one of the best and most overlooked restaurants. I am obsessed with the chicken and waffles and fried pickles here…all on one plate! Seriously, you need to check this out.
